Wrestler Narsingh Yadav was to participate in the individual World Cup in Belgrade from 12 to 18 December for his first international tournament after four years, but now he will have to remain in isolation.

Wrestler Narasimha Yadav, who was preparing for his first international tournament after completing a four-year ban due to doping, suffered a setback on Saturday and was found positive in the corona virus investigation. Greco Roman wrestler Gurpreet Singh has also been found to be Covid-19 positive.

Narsingh was scheduled to participate in the individual World Cup in Belgrade from 12 to 18 December for his first international tournament after four years. In this tournament, he was included in the 74 kg category in place of Jitender Kinha.

The Sports Authority of India (Sai) said in a statement that Narasimha (74 kg weight class) became eligible to participate in the competition again in August this year. Both him and Gurpreet (77 kg) have no symptoms. Apart from these two, physiotherapist Vishal Rai has also been found positive of this dangerous virus.
