Maycee Barber will have an enviable showcase to justify why she calls herself “the future” of the given the postponement of Uriah Hall vs. Chris Weidman to UFC 261 for a positive coronavirus from the former Middleweight champion, the fight between Barber and Mexican Alexa Grasso becomes the new co-star of UFC 258.

The UFC made the changes to the Main Card official this afternoon.

The fight between Jim Miller and Bobby Green, two of the oldest 155-pounders still active, is the one that will open the card.

Barber has not stepped into the Octagon since losing a unanimous decision to Roxanne Modafferi at UFC 246. During the contest, the 22-year-old fighter suffered an injury to her cruciate ligaments.
