Margot Bingham, the actress of Netflix’s She’s Gotta Have It series, has joined season 11 of AMC’s The Walking Dead.
The network and sources aren’t going to comment on Bingham’s role, but it’s likely we will see Bingham play Stephanie, the character she voiced in season 10 episodes “Bonds”, and “Morning Star”. Stephanie, an unnamed survivor from the Charleston zombie epidemic, connects via radio and with Josh McDermitt’s Eugene Porter.
Dominic Patten talked with Angela Kang the Walking Dead showrunner for the final episode. She stated that the series will move away from the usual rural backdrop and be set in more urban environments. The series was unable to air the season 10 finale because of complications with COVID-19. However, they managed to finish postproduction with an air date in Q4.
Bingham plays Clorinda Bradford in Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It. Her features include Alan Yang’s Tigertail and Barbershop: The Next Cut. She also appears at Saturday Church, Tribeca Film Festival.
We watched a trio of Survivors explore a deserted Pittsburgh in the final episode of Walking Dead. This was where the unique debut of the Princess character, created by Robert Kirkman. In the aftermath of Judith losing her father Rick Grimes and Michonne over two seasons, Negan, played by Jeff Dean Morgan, tried to find a role with the daughter Alpha, a Whisperers leader, but he was killed in “Walk with Us” episode March 15.
