Even though Riverdale While season 5 part 2 will not air until August, the creators behind CW’s show are already teasing fans about what’s coming in season 6. This mystery drama for teens is darkly based on Archie Comics The show has enjoyed great success. These five seasons are the first. Archie Andrews, KJ Apa and the gang Riverdale has always been plagued by mysteries, murders, cults, and serial killers.
Riverdale’s first episode of season 5 aired January 2021. It aired after a pandemic-related shutdown forced showrunners not to finish the season 4 storyline as planned. The seven-year planned time jump between seasons 4 & 5 was postponed due to this. Instead, the time jump happened between episodes 3-4 of season 5. After losing touch with their characters for almost a decade, the Riverdale characters returned home to teach at their former high schools. The gang, which includes Archie and Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse), Veronica Lodge(Camila Mendes), Betty Cooper (“Lili Reinhart”), Toni Topaz („Vanessa Morgan”), Cheryl Blossom („Madelaine Petsch”) are all together.
Part 2 will air August 11th on The CW. Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre–Sacasa celebrated the wrap on filming with an Instagram post. The creator of Riverdale, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, shared a little tease about what viewers can expect in season 6. The caption to the post said, “Really excited about our next series of episodes. They are some of the most impressive we have done. Then, there’s a break. After that …,”, there were several emojis. These included an alien head, tornado, fire, and a ring for a wedding, possibly hinting at the next season. Check out Aguirre-Sacasa’s full post below:
The photo that was included in the post showed Riverdale without Sprouse, who was not present. We don’t know if that was foreshadowing. Jughead may be in trouble considering Aguirre Sacasa’s statement regarding a “possibly fatal fate of one of the major characters that we know since Season 1”, however.
Based on the emoji Cluster, season 6 Riverdale will appear to show The gang gets themselves into more trouble. Jughead disappeared during the mid-season finale. There was only one pool of blood left. This makes his absence from Aguirre Sacasa’s photo more suspect. Betty is still determined and determined to find Polly to solve the Lonely Highway murder case. Season 5 part 2 and 6 will have plenty of material. Riverdale Fans shouldn’t count out a season that will include alien abductions, natural catastrophes, and possibly even a wedding.
