Concerning the approaching season’s cast, we can expect most of the main and recurring cast to come back.
The cast of season 2 includes Alisha Wainwright as Nicole, Jazmyn Simon as Kat, Sammi Haney as Esperanza, Jason Ritter as Pat, Black Panther’s Michael B. Jordan as Mark, and, of course, Ja’Siah Young as Dion.
In Addition, There are a few new faces joining season two’s cast with Josh Ventura, Aubriana Davis, Tracey Bonner, and How to Get Away with Murder actor Rome Flynn.

Together with COVID-19 shutting down studios for most of the year, Raising Dion was not able to picture whatsoever in 2020. But, it’s been reported that production began earlier this season in January 2021 and will operate in May 2021.

An official release date has not yet been released for season 2, however, we can suppose that season two will premiere sometime after this year, probably in the fall or winter.
