The Kerala Cricket Association is also impressed by this amazing performance of this young player and has announced a reward of Rs 1000 per run for this innings to Azharuddin. That is, Azhar, who scored 137 runs, will get 1 lakh 37 thousand rupees in the award.

KCA Secretary Shrijit V Nair told news agency IANS, ‘This is a great moment for Kerala cricket. We have decided to honor Mohammad Azharuddin’s great performance and with immediate effect, we will give him Rs. 1000 per run i.e. Rs. 1,37,000.

This century of young Azhar is the third fastest century by any Indian batsman in T20 cricket. Earlier, Rishabh Pant and Rohit Sharma have scored fast centuries from Azhar. This is the first century from Kerala in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
