Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has invested Rs 250 million or Rs 1825 crore for its four upcoming Jeep SUV production in India. It will be made under the local product lineup. The company has invested 450 million for Indian operations in the last 5 years, so in the year 2022, these 4 new SUV vehicles will be launched. The All-New Local Vehicle lineup also includes the Made in India Jeep Compass of 2021.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said in its statement that both the Jeep Wrangler and the Next Generation Grand Cherokee Flagship will be assembled at the joint venture manufacturing facility of the local FCA. Partha Dutta, managing director of FCA India said that our new investment of 250 million will bring competition in many segments when we start rolling out our new SUV.

Jeep’s focus on Indian customers

He further said that. We are very excited about the 450 million we have invested in Indian operations for the last 5 years. We will launch many new products in India on the 80th anniversary of Jeep.

Dutta further said that our entire focus is on India and we want to provide the best service to the customers here with the help of our products. At the same time, we want to open more new businesses with the help of our business partner. We want to increase local lead components. Let us know that recently FCA announced that it is planning to open a Global Digital Center in Hyderabad, for which it will invest 150 million.

The automotive group has increased its engineering operations, where it is promising to provide 1000 new jobs by the year 2021. In 2015, FCA invested in Ranjangaon, Maharashtra for local production and local development of Jeep Compass.
