• The former world champion returned to the cameras after more than a year of absence of the red mark.
  • Mahal introduced teammates Shanky and Veer before earning a win over Jeff Hardy

During the Monday Night RAW broadcasts through the USA Network, superstar Jinder Mahal made his return to WWE’s central programming along with two teammates from India .

Without prior announcement, former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal made his return to RAW for the first time in more than a year of absence from the brand. “The Modern Day Maharaja” introduced his new teammates Shanky and Veer , who joined him in his fight against Jeff Hardy. Mahal managed to face his rival and evaded the Twist of Fate before applying his Khallas and celebrating victory with his new companions.

The three Indian-born Superstars reappeared on a WWE main show for the first time since the Superstar Spectacle special on January 26. Dilsher Shanky joined Giant Zanjeer, Rey Mysterio, and Ricochet in their on-camera debut to defeat Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, King Corbin, and Shinsuke Nakamura. On the other hand, Shanky was part of Indus Sher’s victory with Drew McIntyre against the team of Jinder Mahal and The Bollywood Boyz.

Jinder Mahal’s Return Was Anticipated At WWE Main Event

The moment seen moments ago in RAW is very similar to what happened in the last transmissions of WWE Main Event . Jinder Mahal returned on the secondary show to face Jeff Hardy. The last moments of that combat saw Rinku and Veer helping Mahal to obtain victory. This is not the first time that the company has used its exclusive WWE Network program for creative testing. In the past we saw Jaxson Ryker making his comeback as Elias’ partner at the Main Event prior to his first appearance on Monday Night RAW.
