Young Sheldon has been renewed for season 5 and two more seasons by CBS. The official release date has not been mentioned yet. Although the release of season 4 has been delayed on account of this outbreak, the lovers can expect the usual release time of late September 2021 for season 5 as the scenario is getting somewhat normal.
Currently Sheldon is 11 years old and in the very first year of college. The story is to keep from where it ended in season 4. Fans can expect more experiences for the Cooper family as Sheldon attempts to fit into his new life in school.
It is also expected that one will see the fallout of George Sr. and Mary’s union in season 5 that was established in The Big Bang Theory. Season 4 ended with a cliff-hanger so fans need to wait may be unbearably for the next season.
The upcoming seasons are likely to explain lots of the things that grownup Sheldon mentioned from The Big Bang Theory such as when he confessed to Penny why he constantly knocked on the door before entering (his father’s illicit affair) and about his father’s sudden departure. The series can be expected to get darker while keeping its original tone.
The next seasons of Young Sheldon are going to be quite exciting. Although we might know a few bits from The Big Bang Theory, it will be amusing to know the real reasons behind them. Fans can’t wait for the new episodes to drop in as soon as possible.
