WWE could soon present a new show. As reported by Raj Giri from WrestlingINC, Paul ” Triple H ” Levesque would have created a team to oversee the creation and development of this new program.
This new project, based on a style closer to that seen in the independent scene, is led by Gabe Sapolsky to whom Triple H would have given several backstage agents and writers to help him in the process.
As WrestlingINC has commented, the idea is to create a program that serves as a development brand for NXT: “It is something like an NXT for NXT”, explained Raj Giri.
The biggest challenge for Sapolsky’s team would have been to format the concept for television. The original idea was for it to be similar to a promotion that ran in some of the smaller tier markets served by NXT. However, since home shows are likely not making a comeback, they would be thinking about making it a new weekly show on WWE programming.
So far the start and premiere date of this new project for the WWE television grid is unknown. However, the goal was to launch it in early 2021, although it will not eventually be the case.
