The Monday Night Raw episode was the last one from the present ThunderDome residency of WWE. It had a special guest Randy Orton in the special Firefly Funhouse segment. The show took place in the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. Drew McIntyre, the WWE Champion was set to compete in 2-on-3 handicap main event match.

To pay tribute to late great Pat Patterson, Vince McMahon along with the WWE Superstars gathered on the ramp. After this, Randy Orton addressed his recent feud with Bray Watt. Randy was interrupted by Bray with a Firefly Funhouse segment. Least interested in what Bray had to say, Orton wanted to fight a match. Apparently, the challenge was accepted.

For defying them, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler plotted to disfigure Lana before the match. However, the match quickly ended on the mat. Baszler had her Kirifuda Clutch locked in, on Asuka but the latter rolled through the Asuka lock. Asuka’s tag partner, Lana was then attacked by Nia Jax at the ringside. Jax attempted to put Lana into the table but it was Lana who succeeded. This distracted Baszler and Asuka rolled her up to claim victory.

RECKONING and Slapjack teamed up against Dana Brooke and Ricochet. Slapjack hit a big Falcon Arrow and missed a running corner cannonball when Brooke was hit a missile dropkick by Reckoning. Brooke used the distraction of Ali ordering Reckoning and hit a Michnoku Driver on Reckoning for the win.

On Miz TV, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre had a clash of words with John Morrison and The Miz. It happened in the presence of AJ Styles and his bodyguard Omos. The scheduled team was plugged by them before the hosts of the talk show were taken out by Sheamus and McIntyre. Before McIntyre launched Money in the Bank briefcase, they ruined the set.

In singles action, Kofi Kingston, the WWE RAW tag team champions competed against Shelton Benjamin. The barriers were hit hard by Benjamin and was hit with a Trouble in Paradise for the loss when he came back to the ring. MVP of the Hurt Business wasn’t happy with the win. He challenged Kofi to compete against Cedric Alexander in another match. As Cedric planted Kofi with a Lumbar Jack for the win, the latter’s ankle was hurt.

The 2-on-3 Handicap Match on WWE Raw was scheduled among Sheamus & Drew McIntyre vs Aj Styles, The Miz and John Morrison. The audience waited for a Claymore Kick on Morrison was he was pulled away to safety by The Miz. Aj was hit with an Irish Curse backbreaker by Sheamus and Miz got a Brogue kick from him.

Sheamus went for another one on Morrison but accidentally hit his partner. Taking advantage of this miscommunication, Aj leapt off with the Phenomenal Forearm to get the win. Sheamus and McIntyre had a physical argument in the backstage after the match was over.

In the next match, Jeff Hardy competed with Bobby Lashley. Hardy refused to team up with Riddle. However, Hardy had the support of The Original Bro from the ringside.  Before going for the Swanton Bomb, Hardy hit a Twist of Fate on Lashley who countered by pulling up his legs. He connected with a Huge Spear to get the submission win before he applied the Hurt Lock.

The main event of this week’s WWE Raw was Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt. The better part was under the control of Orton. After Orton’s second rope DDT, The lights began to flicker which signalled the arrival pof the Fiend. The arena went pitch black when the RKO was hit by Orton.  We saw Watt standing putting on the mask of The Fiend hen the lights came back. He punished Orton to choke out The Viper with the Mandible Claw. This is how the show ended.
