The end of the debut season of Warrior Nun leaves Ava and her friends in a dangerous spot, but are they coming back for season 2? In July 2020, Netflix debuted this action fantasy series, which is loosely based on the Ben Dunn comic books, and it quickly earned a following.
Warrior Nun series tars Alba Baptista as Ava, an orphaned quadriplegic teenager who is given a second chance at life after an angelic halo is put in her back, restoring her blindness, and giving her a variety of superpowers.

Adapted for TV by Simon Barry (Van Helsing). Nevertheless, Ava’s new gifts come with a legacy, as she inherited the Warrior Nun mantle – the champion of a secret sect of nuns who are trained to battle demons.
The cast of Warrior Nun Season 2
Given that Simon Barry shared the news of the renewal with all the Warrior Sisters, it is a certainty that the sisters in the demon-slaying will be back. So, prepare to see more of Ava , Shotgun Mary , Sister Lilith, Sister Beatrice, and Sister Camila, the lead nun (Olivia Delcan).
Seeing more of Jillian Salvius, Father Vincent and Mother Superion will also make sense. Adriel, who is played by William Miller, can also play an even greater role in Season 2, as the first season finale revealed that this divine chaos is the devilish, evil force behind it.
The plot of Warrior Nun Season 2
The Netflix original sinned the way it did with such a cliffhanger of a final by ending Season 1. Now that the legend on which the Order of the Cruciform Sword is based is revealed to be a lie—that Adriel is really no angel at all but a devil who stole the halo—the Sisters have on their hands a centuries-old dilemma.

Last season wrapped up with the evil force emerging from the tomb in which the Vatican imprisoned him for years and calling his demons to this world, so the Warriors will have a whole lot more darkness on their hands going forward on top of their normal quest.
They will not only have to face the fact that the whole Order will have to tackle its past and values in Season 2.
Release Date of Warrior Nun Season 2
It’s going to be a little while before we get to hop back into that hellish action because Warrior Nun just got the green light for Season 2. Season 1 aired in early July, so should the writing team be able to get back to work remotely reasonably quickly, and the state of the pandemic in Spain, where the show is filmed, makes shooting in early 2021, it seems likely that sometime in 2021 the show will be back
