Transplant Season 2

Transplant is one of the highest watched Canadian original series on CTV. It’s renewal is no big surprise. Fans loved the show despite having the other medical shows on NBC, Transplant has managed to garner a devoted audience. Fans cannot stop gushing about Transplant Season 2.

Plot 

Doctor Bashir Hamed, and his little sister, Amira, have fled their home in Syria to start a new and safe life in Canada. Due to his refugee status, Bashir works at a restaurant in Toronto. One day a truck comes crashing into the restaurant. Bashir immediately went into Doctor mode and performed emergency medical procedures on the injured. One of the people he saved the lives of was Dr. Jed Bishop. Dr. Bishop is the emergency department head at York Memorial Hospital, the best hospital in Toronto. He realizes that Bashir earlier applied to his hospital and got rejected. He decides to give Bashir the job and thus he earns residency in the biggest Emergency Department in Toronto.

What Is In Store For Transplant Season 2?

The finale of Season 1 saw Bashir and Amira reunite with a Syrian woman. The woman remains unidentified as of now. She definitely could not be their mother, maybe some relative or Bashir’s lover. Season 2 will tell us about her character. The romance brewing between Mags and Bash will be a part of Season 2.

Release Date

CTV announced the renewal for Transplant Season 2 back in June 2020. Whereas there has been no announcement from NBC yet. The show was scheduled for a February 2021 release. But we still have no information whether COVID impacted the productions into delay or not. So we may have it in early 2021.
