Netflix’s The Seven Deadly Sins is a licensed exclusive anime series. The storyline of this anime was adapted from the manga of the same title written by author Nakaba Suzuki. ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ has taken the anime world by storm. ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ made a huge name for itself in the anime world with a very unusual story and an interesting cast of characters. The franchise has a fiercely loyal following after having sold over 37 million copies of the manga worldwide. The studio was formerly animated by A-1 Images, but Studio Deen has had a new home since then.

Plot
Since nothing official has been released by the creators of the anime it is hard to say what could happen in the upcoming season. But what we know for sure is that new characters will be added into the mix and the plot will be based on the original as well as new characters. We can also say that the story of the upcoming season will be based on the famous manga.
Release Date
Don’t hope to see Season 5 of The Seven Deadly Sins anytime soon on Netflix. The series was initially expected to return to Japan in October 2020, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fifth season has since been postponed. On The Seven Deadly Sins site, an official statement was released. Finally, an updated release date has been announced and, as planned, the series will be broadcast in January 2021 in Japan. The anime will also be released for the remainder of the world after the anime is released in Japan.
