The Moodys is an American comedy television series. It stars Denis Leary and Elizabeth Perkins as a cantankerous married couple who are reunited for the Christmas season in Chicago with their three adult children.
The series premiered on Fox on 4 December 2019, and for its first season, it broadcast two half-hour episodes back-to-back for three weeks, for a total of six episodes. Originally, the series was to be called A Moody Christmas;
the first series of the Australian series on which it is based was called A Moody Christmas.

It is thought that the main cast of the series will get a feature in the second season. That means it will include the cast:
Denis Leary, of the popular comedy series, Rescue Me, is coming back to play the role of Sean Moody Snr, As Ann Moody, the wife of Sean Snr., Elizabeth Perkins (a three-time Emmy nominated singer, known for her role in ‘He said, She said will return, Francois Arnaud (The Borgias) plays Dan Moody, Sean and Ann’s first child, Chelsea Frei (Sideswiped) as the Moody family’s middle child, Bridget Moody, Sean Moody Jr. is Jay Baruchel who is known for his appearance in the movie ‘She’s out of my league.
The plot of The Moodys Season 2
For Christmas time, the first season of the series is about the reunion of a quarrelsome married couple with their fully grown children. The producers’ announcement that the next season won’t follow the traditional Christmas theme has made it difficult to guess the potential plot of the next season.
We can be sure, however, of an endless drama between the members of the Moody Family. It has also been learned that the current season would have a more extensive number of episodes than the previous season, which had just six episodes.
The Release date of The Moodys Season 2
Fox has renewed the series for the second season in July 2020. The second season is not going to be holiday-themed and will have a greater order size than the short run of their original six-episode. Sadly, a release date for The Moodys has not been confirmed yet but the second series is set to air on Fox for the 2020-21 season.
