The Gray Man, the new film by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo ( Avengers: Endgame ), has added a new face to its cast. Ana de Armas, actress of Daggers in the Back and No Time to Die, has joined the Netflix adaptation of the novel written by Mark Greaney, according to Deadline. The film stars Ryan Gosling ( La La Land ) and Chris Evans ( Defending Jacob ). In this way, De Armas repeats with Evans after Daggers in the back, directed by Rian Johnson ( Star Wars: The Last Jedi ). At the moment it is unknown what role the actress will play.
The film is Netflix’s most expensive production to date with an estimated budget of $ 200 million. The story follows Court Gentry, a freelance assassin and former CIA agent known by the nickname Gray Man. The film tells of how Gentry (Gosling) is hunted around the world by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former partner of the CIA.
The Russo brothers, in addition to directing and producing the film, have also written the script, which has recently been polished by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who were in charge of the scripts for Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.
