The Flash was renewed for season 8, which will most likely be released next year. The renewal comes as no surprise considering the iconic CW show’s superhero series. The Flash was the first broadcast on CW in 2014. It quickly rose to number one. Since then, The Flash has been a favorite series. It was only natural to continue the viewership by renewing the series for an eighth season. It was renewed in February 2012. The Flash season 8 will air at the close of this year. At this stage, it is not clear how many episodes will be in the next season. You can be sure that season 8 will feature 18 episodes. Season 7 was similar.
Flash season 7 ended without a cliffhanger. This has been the trend in previous seasons. Flash season 7 ended with Barry & Iris renewing the vows. It was a wedding Iris didn’t get and it was beautiful with many Team Flash participants. Although the season ended without a major cliffhanger it still has a lot to do. Iris could be the central storyline of season 8. The next phase will address the question of Iris’s phasing into and out of the timeline.
