The Boys Season 3

Showrunner Eric Kripke reveals that the very first footage observed in season 3 of The Boys is the strangest thing he’s seen in his profession. Kripke first found fame with his job since creator and showrunner on The CW’s Supernatural until departing after season 5, that he originally planned as the conclusion for the Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki-starring drama. Initially set at Cinemax, Kripke awakened with Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg to create Garth Ennis’ acclaimed graphic novel for Amazon.

The series is set in a world where superheroes exist but work for the corrupt company Vought International, abusing their powers off and on the job. The story centers on Hughie Campbell, a person who reaches his girlfriend murdered by the speedster A-Train and can be recruited from the charismatic Billy Butcher to join the titular group specializing in placing superheroes in their place. Throughout both seasons, The Boys has received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike as well as ratings hit to the streaming stage, landing a season 3 order plus also a college-set spin-off.

With a little over four months of creation under its belt, Kripke chose Twitter to offer an update on season 3 of this sequence. Discussing the footage he has seen so far, the showrunner is praising it as some of”the craziest f***ing dailies” he has seen in his profession. Watch Kripke’s post below:

The two biggest factors of attraction for lovers for the approaching season of The Boys are the reunion of Ackles with Kripke for the function of Soldier Boy and the adaptation of the”Herogasm” storyline from the comics. Going from Kripke and the show’s newest tease, it surely seems they are talking about the incident adapting the story from the upcoming season, especially given the showrunner’s past reactions into the very first production assembly on the episode. It’s a story full of controversy, especially at what ensues between Batman parody Black Noir and Hughie, so Kripke calling some dailies the wildest thing he’s seen in his career comes as no shock, even to people who have watched the first two seasons of this sequence.

Though production on season 3 is nearing its completion, no premiere date for The Boys’ return was set as of this moment. But looking at the previous seasons’ release schedules and the current shooting program, there’s a strong possibility the show will go back into Amazon Prime Video after this season. For now, fans will need to keep their eyes peeled for more looks at Ackles’ Soldier Boy along with other teases in the next chapter of the superhero play.
