The world waits for you Stranger Things Season 4 However, fans may have to wait a while longer than they expected.
Fans have been waiting impatiently for the end of filming and the release date of the second season.
It was expected that a major announcement would take place on May 6th, as one of many trailer videos suggested. However, it was a teaser of another teaser. It did indicate that a character we thought had died was still alive.
The videos are just as important. Noah Schnapp and Maya HawkeRobin Buckley and Will Byers, respectively, have been talking about season four.
Stranger Things season 4 release date
Stranger Things Season 4 was initially expected to release in early 2021. Production started well in 2020. Things continued to go well for the first few months. The COVID-19 pandemic caused production to be halted for six months. It is not possible to know when the majority cast returned to production.
The season is expected to be delayed for at least a year. We have heard from several Stranger Things season 4, cast members, that production would likely conclude in August 2021. These include Sherman Augustus as well as David Harbour.
It doesn’t seem like there is enough time for the season to be edited, promoted, and released before production stops this summer. You would expect to see lots more Stranger Things promos by now. We haven’t.
Netflix has just announced The Witcher 2 season 2 will be coming to Netflix on December 17, 20,21. It would be hard for me to believe Netflix will release Stranger Things in the same month as The Witcher. These two shows are some of the most popular on Netflix.
Finn Wolfhard added that season 4 of the series would be available on Netflix by 2022.
None of these points point to a release date for Stranger Things season 4 in late 2021. It takes between the end day of production to the release date for a show like Stranger Things six to eight more months.
If production ceases in August we could expect to see Stranger Things Season 4 of Netflix available as early as February 2022 or April 2022
So, that’s our prediction at the moment. Sorry to break bad news for all those hoping to catch the season this year. It might happen, but we doubt it!
