The Joker has been removed from the finery of laughing in the first official images of the villain played by Jared Leto in the next Justice League that Zack Snyder is going to premiere on HBO, also known as Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
Thus, the most charismatic (almost always) and cinematic antagonist of Batman returns to the screen. Remember that in the original film, finished by Joss Whedon, the character did not even appear. For now, the first look at the Joker in the Snyder Cut is as creepy as you might expect.
At the time, Snyder already announced the appearance of the Clown Prince of Crime in his montage. And it also warned us that it would have a new look, something these new photos confirm. The Joker poses with hair and rags, a look far removed from those silver teeth, tattoos, and a purple trench coat that he wore in Suicide Squad. We also see him crestfallen, in a kind of basement, giving us a sinister look in the absence of his terrifying smile.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, which has shown the images exclusively, Snyder has assured that the character will appear in a sequence set in a destroyed Earth after the invasion of Darkseid. It is a vision that Bruce Wayne has and that reveals what will happen to the heroes if they do not stop their enemy.
What I like about that scene is that it has the Joker speaking directly to Batman about Batman, says the director It’s the Joker analyzing Batman and telling him who he is and what he is. It’s one thing he felt fans of the Batman deserved. DC universe because Jared Leto’s Joker and Ben Affleck’s Batman had never been seen together. The scene also explains why Bruce had a letter from the Joker in his gun in Batman v Superman, he adds.

This has a lot to do with Robin’s death, a thorn in the side for the filmmaker. I always wanted to explore the death of Robin says Snyder in the interview: “If there had been another movie, which surely there will not be, I would have liked to show through flashbacks how Robin died, how the Joker killed him and ended up Wayne Manor, and everything that happened between him and Bruce.
For now, Zack Snyder’s Justice League will bring us the encounter between both characters. Also, the film has become one of the most anticipated releases of March, especially by all those fans who mobilized under the hashtag
#ReleaseTheSnyderCut and managed to get Warner to give the green light to this bizarre project, which sought to respect Snyder’s original plan for the 2017 film,
Ben Affleck Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher return as the leading superhero quintet after filming several reshoots for this montage. In addition to Leto’s Joker, we will also get to see more of Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke. Remember that the Snyder Cut from Justice League will arrive on March 18 on HBO.
