You were wrong to think Netflix could get more raunchy since the release of 365 Days, a Polish film. Sex/Life, the streaming service’s new series, is just as risque as the Polish film and even features a full-frontal penis scene. This show is even more fascinating because Netflix has approved it. It seems that there is a growing demand for erotic entertainment.
Life follows Billie Connelly, a bored housewife (Sarah Shahi), Cooper (Mike Vogel), Brad (Adam Demos), and her husband Cooper (Mike Vogel). Although Billie is in love with Cooper, there’s something special about Brad that keeps her going. The situation is complicated because Billie has Cooper and Brad have two children. And, even though they share amazing sexual chemistry and a lot of sex, Brad and Billie have a very traumatic past (something that includes a baby but we won’t spoil you).
There is a lot of back and forth in the drama. You’re watching Billie, an indecisive woman, decide who she will be with. There’s lots of humor and sexy content between her choices. Just when you think that the decision is made, Netflix ends the season with a cliffhanger.
Billie makes a last-minute decision to travel to New York to “get to know” Brad. But there’s a twist. She won’t be leaving Cooper, she just wants to spend time with Brad. The screen goes black before Brad can speak.
The answer to the question is still not clear, even after eight episodes. So Season 2 must happen. Continue reading to find out everything you need to know about season 2 of Sex/Life.
