During the Elimination Chamber 2021 broadcasts via WWE Network, Riddle won the United States Championship against John Morrison and Bobby Lashey.

This was the third matchup of WWE’s recent pay-per-view event. In the final minutes, The Original Bro attempted to land a German Suplex and perform a count of three on Morrison but failed. Lashley returned to the ring but received the Final Flash followed by Riddle’s Flying Bro. Morrison pushed him out of the way of Riddle and when he tried to go after Hurt Business, MVP distracted him. Morrison went for MVP’s crutch to attack his protege but received a Hurt Lock. Riddle took the opportunity to use the crutch and attack Bobby, landed a Bro Derek on Morrison, and got the victory on the count of three.

In this way, Riddle wins his first championship in WWE, ending the reign of Bobby Lashley with the United States Championship that lasted 175 days. He had won the title at the 2020 Payback PPV. Lashley defeated former champion Apollo Crews on August 30 last year to lift this title for the second time in his career.

Keith Lee was discharged from Elimination Chamber

Within hours of starting Elimination Chamber, rumors began circulating regarding Keith Lee’s withdrawal from the event. The fighter did not appear on Monday Night RAW last Monday, but WWE waited until the last minute to break the news. The real reasons why “The Limitless” has been absent from the company’s programming are still unknown. Before starting the pay-per-view, John Morrison became Lee’s replacement by defeating Mustafa Ali, Ricochet, and Elias on the Kickoff Show.
