Is the season renewed ?
Netflix has not renewed Record of Ragnarok Season 2 yet. To get a new story, we would need to wait until the next season. However, the makers have not given the green light to the show. There are very few chances that the show will continue.
Although there could be reasons for the delay, anime has not enjoyed the same popularity and fanbase as the manga. The average rating for the show was only 6.2 on IMDb. It received 6.57 on Myanimelist. Netflix has not yet considered the renewal of the show because of the low rating and poor response. We have however not seen Netflix’s ratings be affected. We may see the season renewed sometime in 2022, if that happens. This is just a guess. We have to wait for official statements from team members on the renewal.
