Queen Sugar Series Overview
Queen Sugar rotates throughout the stories of three siblings: Nova, Charley, and Ralph. They sleep in rural Louisiana, and therefore the series majorly shows the struggle they are going through after the overtime of their father. Their father left an 800-acre sugarcane farm behind, which is to be taken care of
Rutina Wesley played the role of Nova Bordelon who may be a formidable journalist and an activist.
Dawn-Lyen Gardner played the role of Charley Bordelon, who may be a working wife and therefore the mother living in l. a.
Kofi Siriboe played the role of Ralph Angel Bordelon who may be a single parent coping up with things of unemployment alongside raising his son all by himself.
As each family has differences and drama, you’ll notice an equivalent within the series from the scratch.
For Example, within the first episode of the primary season, there’s tension between Charley and Nova, with reference to honoring the daddy at his funeral. Both the siblings have different opinions about the way they need to honor their father. On the opposite hand, Ralph Angel is busy arguing with Aunt Violet about his young son Blue’s presence at the funeral.
And this is often just one incident but there are many who follow through season 5.

Queen Sugar Season 5
The first episode of Season 5 was aired on February 16, 2021, and its last episode was aired on April 20, 2021. In season 5, tons went on but the difficulty and family drama hasn’t lessened, rather has increased with more complex issues.
The first episode starts with something positive, that is, Nova starts a replacement venture and Micah starts a replacement journey of her college life.
