Persona 5 Strikers is a hack and slash role-playing video game developed by Omega Force and P-Studio for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows. The game is a mix between Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors and Atlus’s Persona franchise. The game has features of both the franchise such as the real-time action combat of the former with the turn-based Persona-battling aspect of the latter.
Plot of Persona 5 Strikers
The game follows Joker and the rest of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts as they investigate a series of mysterious events involving people across Japan. The game is set six months after the events of Persona 5. The protagonist and Morgana return to Tokyo for a reunion with the other Phantom Thieves of Hearts to spend their summer vacation together on a camping trip.
When are Persona 5 Strikers Releasing in the West
Persona 5 Strikers will launch on February 23, 2021, for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, according to a leaked trailer. The publishers had come out with a trailer on Friday mentioning the Persona 5 Strikers Game will be launched in the West in February 2021.
Though the publisher Atlus uploaded the trailer on its teaser website it was later removed on the same day for reasons unknown. Given that the trailer went live at the wrong time, one could only speculate that this may have been a 2020 Game Awards announcement. Some people were quick enough to download the trailer and reupload it. It’s up to Atlus West to properly announce the game soon.
Where is the game available
Nintendeal suggested on Twitter that Persona 5 Strikers will be available across Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Steam on its release. The reason why it might be unavailable on PS 5 is that steam already has a massive install base. Since they did not want to waste time touching up the visuals on a PS 5 vesion and instead wanted to focus on other projects.
