It has been reported that production for Ozark season 4 will begin this November. Ozark debuted on Netflix in 2017, where it had been met with an extremely warm reception from critics and audiences alike, drawing substantial comparisons to another beloved show, Breaking Bad. The show has grown to be one of those streaming platform’s biggest hits, especially after releasing season 3 earlier this season, which was met with glowing reviews. Not too long after season 3 proved to the platform, Netflix announced that Ozark was revived for season 4, which could be its final season and could be divided into two parts comprising 14 episodes complete.
Series star Jason Bateman demonstrated that production for Ozark season 4 will start this November. After revealing the official beginning date would be November 9th, he said, “What’s proceeding nicely toward this, and we’re very confident in the protocols and guidelines we are going to be following. We’ve got a lot of advisers, [and] we are learning a lot from other productions. ”
After Netflix announced the series would be coming back for a fourth and last season, fans have been wondering exactly what to expect from Ozark season 4. Ozark season 3, which featured a cartel war and a significant divide between Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) and his wife Wendy (Laura Linney), culminated in a cliffhanger ending that left fans in shock. However, one theory for season 4 indicates Darlene Snell’s mum could potentially be a villain in the last season.
Ozark follows a fiscal adviser named Marty Byrde, who moves his family from Chicago into the Missouri Ozarks in order to launder money for a drug cartel. The drama show stars Bateman, Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Skyler Gaertner, Julia Garner, Lisa Emery, Charlie Tahan, Kevin L. Johnson, Janet McTeer, along with Felix Solis. All 3 seasons of Ozark are streaming on Netflix.
