After receiving a rating of 97% by Rotten Tomatoes and a rating of 8.4/10 by IMDB, American crime drama Ozark is soon going to drop a season 4.
The series is created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams for Netflix and produced by Media Rights Capital and revolves around a family who dirty their hands in laundering money for a Mexican drug cartel.
The ten episodic seasons 3 released on March 27, 2020, exclusively on Netflix was the most successful season of the show.

The show stars Jason Bateman as the protagonist Martin “Marty” Byrde and includes other characters such as:

Marty Byrde is a financial advisor living in Chicago. He along with his partner Bruce Liddell run a side business of money laundering for a Mexican drug cartel which is also the second-largest drug cartel in Mexico.
Marty chooses money laundering as his main business abruptly which forces him and his family to shift their home from Chicago to redneck-drenched grim Ozark Lakes in Missouri.
Throughout the first season, things got worse for Marty and he tries all attempts to repay his debt to the cartel by paying up “dirty money” through illegal means and other acquired businesses in town such as a strip joint, a resort, and a funeral parlor.
In season 3 of the show, we witness a relationship between the cartel leader Omar Navarro and Marty’s wife Wendy as Marty and Wendy share a strained relationship due to their disagreement on how to carry on with their criminal corporation.
Also, despite her tentative friendship with the Byrdes, Helen plans to take the family out of the picture but her plan doesn’t work out accordingly.
The season 3 finale was the most gripping, when Marty, Wendy, and Helen get out of the car in Mexico to meet Navarro, Helen is shot in the head by one of Navarro’s henchmen which puts Marty, Wendy, and the viewers in shock.
Navarro embraces the couple and states “This is the beginning”.
This nail-biting cliffhanger has definitely increased the anticipation among fans as to the release of Season 4.
Ozark Season 4 release date
The makers have renewed the show for a fourth and last season in June 2020 which will include 14 episodes. But as of now the release date has not been confirmed. Sources say that Ozark season 4 might air either in late 2021 or in early 2022.
