A fourth and final season will be coming to Netflix, according to “Ozark,” a crime series. The money-laundering financial consultant and his family will be gone after that.
Netflix has announced that the popular series will end after its fourth and final season. The announcement does have a positive side. Instead of 10 episodes, the season will now contain 14 episodes. We have provided all details regarding the new season.
Ozark Season 4: Release Date
Netflix confirmed in June that Ozark would be returning to Netflix for the fourth and final season. The final season of Ozark will be split into two seasons, with the first coming in late 2021. The second installment may premiere in spring 2022.
Netflix has yet to determine the release date for Ozark Season 4. Netflix, however, didn’t include Ozark (alongside The Witcher Season 2 and Sex Education) in its earnings letter for shareholders 2021. This suggests that Ozark may not arrive as soon as expected.

“Ozark” Season 4: Plot.
Netflix releases a short teaser that states: “They go. They go with a big boom.” Ozark will return with 14 more episodes. Additional episodes are needed to give the story a complete ending. We must answer a few urgent questions before we can say farewell to the Byrde families.
Nothing is known about the exact plot of Season 4. This will most likely tie into Season 3. One thing is sure: In season 4, Bryde’s family will be even more involved in the criminal machinations. Marty and Wendy become so closely involved with Navarro by season 3 that it’s unlikely the entire family will be able to escape.
There is a big question about whether the family will ever be able to survive the power struggles over their drug empire. Marty and Wendy got closer at Season 3 but their differences of opinions could end up in a real argument over the future of the family. As Season 3 demonstrated, both Byrdes can eventually run their drug operation. Do you think there is a common theme?
There is still the question of whether Ruth, the renegade Ruth in season 3, who turned her back to the family in episode 3, will be returning to the Byrde team as season 4 – if so, could she be a dangerous adversary. How does Wendy’s brother’s passing affect the family and the next season?
