
There are great news for the fans of On My Block. The makers of the American teen comedy-drama have decided to renew the show for season 4, which was already envisaged as the season 3 finale had a twisted ending. The show first premiered on March 16, 2018 on Netflix and is created by Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, and Jeremy Haft. Since its first season, On My Block has received praises from critics as well as the viewers.

Is Season 4 Happening?
According to certain rumors, yes season 4 is happening, but there is no official announcement by Netflix as of now. The last season aired on 11th March 2020 and since then fans have been anticipating a season 4. Also, the show’s co-creator Lauren Iungerich signed a multi-year deal with Netflix, which throws light on the possibility on a new season coming up soon.
Plot So Far
The show revolves around four teens namely Monse, Cesar, Ruben, Jamal and Jasmine and the ups and downs of their life and friendship when they enter high school.
The third season picks up where the second season left with the four friends getting kidnapped and shoved into a white van anonymously. Season 3 begins with revealing the identity of the kidnapper Cuchillos, leader of the street gang, the Santos. After the events of seasons, one and two (violence and going head to head with the Prophet$) in season three Monse, Cesar, Ruben, Jamal and Jasmine want to live considerably normal lives. But Cuchillos has tasked the four friends to find Lil’ Ricky A.K.A. the owner of the Rollerworld money and her ex-lover.
Jamal recruits Cesare’s brother Oscar to help him solve Lil’Ricky’s case. They dig up Ricky’s grave only to find a Chivo’s gnomes instead of a baby.
Season 4 will further unravel this mystery.
