The Season 6 of Lucifer is defined to be its final season and will inflict some significant changes on the lead characters of this series as the consequences of Season 5B.
At the finale of season 5B of Lucifer, we see the titular protagonist of this series become God. This could bring about a significant shift in the tone of this series for the final season.
Season 5B also put some major changes for Chloe as she has stepped out of the LAPD in favor of becoming Lucifer’s consultant. From the conflict with Michael, Chloe gets stabbed and together with the act of bringing her back to life, Lucifer reveals himself worthy of his father’s standing and becomes God.
The author of the series, Chris Rafferty said the decision to create Chloe to leave the LAPD was made thinking that season 5 will be the previous season.
Lucifer Season 6 Changes For Chloe
Hence, the authors entertained the idea of this major change without thinking of the possible future. In season 5B, Chloe and Lucifer know to become more combined and acknowledge each other. It was to provide a feel of symmetry as the show came to a close friend.
But with the show being revived for one final season, the fact that Chloe isn’t any more a detective makes one think about what the writers have in store for her personality. Writer, Chris Rafferty claims that although Chloe has left the LAPD, one can’t take the detective from Chloe.
Hence, the cases now will be on a more personal level that will help focus the story on the main cast of characters as the show comes to a conclusion.
It’ll be an interesting issue to watch Chloe’s story arc in the final season as she is no more a detective and lately back from the dead. Chris Rafferty claims that for Chloe, giving up on being a detective was not sacrificing her individuality but rather figuring out a new, bigger way to help more people.
Each of the seasons of Lucifer is currently streaming on Netflix.
