Xiaomi launched the Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition in India. This new smart TV is an upgrade version of its existing Mi TV 4A 40 that was launched in 2019. The Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition offers a bezel-less design with a 93.7% screen-to-body ratio.
However, apart from the new design, this new Horizon Edition Smart TV is almost same as the Mi TV 4A 40 launched in 2019. It comes with company’s PatchWall interface that brings features including Universal Search, Kids Mode, and many others.

This Smart TV comes with a 40-inch FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with viewing angle of 178-degree, along with Vivid Picture Engine (VPE) technology.
It has a 93.7% screen-to-body ratio. Xiaomi’s own VPE (Vivid Picture Engine) technology enables a higher quality viewing experience. Users are guaranteed to receive true-to-life colors and stunning visuals when they watch anything on this Smart TV.
The Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition runs on AndroidTV 9.0 with an latest version PatchWall UI on top. This TV comes with two speakers of 10W that delivers a total of 20W stereo sound output. The speakers also includes DTS-HD technology support.

This Smart TV features a quad-core Amlogic 64-bit Quad Core Processor, coupled with Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-450 GPU. Connectivity options on this TV includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, two USB 2.0 ports, three HDMI ports (including one with ARC support), an Ethernet port, S/PDIF, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The price of this Smart TV is Rs 23,999 in India. The first sale of this smart TV starts from 2nd June at 12PM (or Noon) on Flipkart, Mi.com, and other Xiaomi offline Retail partner stores.
The company has also said in a statement that availability of this Smart TV will be subject to the respective state government guidelines of serviceability due to lockdowns.
As an introductory offer, users will get Rs 1000 instant discount on HDFC Bank credit & debit card and EMI transactions. Flipkart is also offering an exchange discount of up to Rs 11,000 for customers buying this Smart TV in place of an old smart TV.
