• Mercedes Martínez attacks Io Shirai during the transmission of the weekly program

During the NXT broadcast on the USA Network, Mercedes Martinez returned to programming after a three-month absence to attack Women’s Champion Io Shirai.

Io Shirai entered the ring, sat down, and called Toni Storm to face her. Toni’s music began to be heard but instead of her appeared Mercedes Martinez who hit the champion and threw her on the commentators’ table.

Martinez last appeared on NXT on September 8 in the special edition NXT Super Tuesday II where she lost to Rhea Ripley in a cage match. After the fight, he parted ways with the Robert Stone brand and on September 21 joined RETRIBUTION under the name “Retaliation”. That would doubt a few weeks since Martinez herself left the group.
