Mayans MC Season 3

Mayans MC is a Mexican-American series and is the successor of ‘Sons of Anarchy’. Sons of Anarchy was quite successful with seven seasons. Its spin-off Mayans M.C. released its season two in 2019. It’s been quite some time since then and fans are awaiting Season 3.

Release Date

The season 3 was given a go-ahead in November 2019. Season two was released after a year of Season one of Mayans M.C. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about Season three. This is because Season 3 has to face the coronavirus pandemic. Productions resumed in mid-October 2020. Therefore the show will be releasing most probably in 2021.

Plot

In the previous season Santo Padre carter declared war against Vatos Malditos M.C. Mayans M.C. then decide to exact their revenge and grab this opportunity. Riz dies at the hands of their rival, Taza. Season 2 also sees the death of an unidentified member. Thus the suspense of who that member might come to an end in the next season.

Season 3 will shed some light on the reasons for the murder of Riz. Adelita having Potter’s baby also will be addressed in this season. The war between the gangs, Mayans MC and Vatos Malditos MC will continue.

 Cast

The majority of the cast will be coming back. EZ (JD Pardo), Angel (Clayton Cardenas), Emily (Sarah Bolger), Bishop (Michael Irby), Adelita (Carla Baratta), Miguel (Danny Pino), Felipe (Edward James Olmos), Taza (Raoul Trujillo), Coco (Richard Cabral), Alvarez (Emilio Rivera), Potter (Ray McKinnon) will be seen. Sadly Antonio Jaramillo won’t be coming due to the death of his character Riz. Ada Maris(Dita) also died so she won’t be seen either.

The show has also decided to change its showrunner. For this season, Elgin James will be showrunner in place of Kurt Sutter. Kurt had to step down due to some concerns regarding his unprofessional behavior. However, the next of the crew felt abandonment on his part.

“I deeply apologise if I’ve made people feel less than or unsupported. My intention was the opposite. But clearly, I’ve not been paying attention. My arrogance and chronic distraction has created wreckage.”
