Matt Riddle has become one of the most prominent faces on Monday Night Raw. Since his transfer in the Draft, he has participated in the main stories of the red brand, being one of the superstars highlighted in the last PPV Survivor Series event.
In the last hours, it has been revealed that the wrestler’s contract with WWE ends in August 2021. By that time, WWE has put an offer on the table to renew it. Dave Meltzer, a journalist for Wrestling Observer, has reported in the latest weekly newsletter that WWE intends to renew the wrestler for three years and pay $ 400,000 a year guaranteed, plus $ 50,000 for each show in Saudi Arabia.
“The company (WWE) is working to renew Riddle, whose contract ends in August,” wrote Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer newsletter. “He is said to be in close agreement with the terms of a three-year contract at $ 400,000 a year guaranteed plus $ 50,000 for each program in Saudi Arabia .”
Recently, it was reported that Riddle has earned significant support on his way up the WWE main roster: Vince McMahon. “For McMahon, he’s a lot of fun in his own weird way,” wrote Dave Meltzer. “He just doesn’t understand what ‘The Bro’ is, but he thinks it’s funny and thinks he has to keep it on television to grow it up.”
