The American Supernatural TV ‘Manifest’ series is set to come back with a season 3 after a very mysterious end to its season3. Conspicuously, the audience did figure out that the show will be renewed for season three.
The show is created by Jeff Rake and produced by Cathy Frankand has a decent rating of 7.2 on the IMDB’s website. ‘Manifest’ is available for streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in India.
The show features Melissa Roxburgh as Michaela Stone, Josh Dallas as Ben Stone, Athena Karkanis, Luna Blaise as Olive Stone, Jack Messina as Cal Stone, Parveen Kaur as Saanvi Bahl, Matt Long as Zeke Landon, and Holly Taylor as Angelina as the main cast.
The plot revolves around the passengers and crew of an airline that went missing. They were presumed dead until they mysteriously reappear after five years.
Montego Air Flight 828 from Jamaica to New York City suddenly experiences and severe turbulence. Upon landing, the passengers realize that they were on board for five years and everyone has presumed them to be dead and upon their arrival, everything around them has been changed including the attitude of their near and dear ones.
These “survivors” receive guiding voices and visions which are called the “callings” which are also their guiding forces in difficult situations.
The time skipping passengers have a death date which is an expiration date. People who have moved forward in time live only for the number of years they have skipped. In the finale episode of season2, Zeke is a time skipper of one year and is connected to the passengers of the Montego Air Flight 828 via his callings.
Zeke follows his callings and jumps into an ice lake to save Cal Stone from drowning. On doing so, he suffers from hypothermia and dies. But for not very long, Zeke “resurrects” from the death which created a surprise moment for viewers of the show.
Ben Stone realizes that Zeke was able to dodge his death date/ expiration date by following his callings. Season 3 will explore Ben’s quest to spread this message to other time skipping passengers.
The release date of season 3
