Kung Fu Panda is a DreamWorks Animation product. Over three films, Kung Fu Panda has housed in the hearts of kids and adults alike. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and many Annie Awards. The television series version of it has won 11 Emmy Awards. The Kung Fu Panda franchise received extreme success in the box office. The second film, Kung Fu Panda 2 became the second biggest box office film directed by a woman. Plot
In Kung Fu Panda 3 Po came back to the Panda village to reunite with his biological dad and his family. However, General Kai returns to the mortal realm to collect Kung Fu masters to serve in his army of Jade Zombies. Po discovers that Kai can only be defeated by the power of Chi, a technique lying with the Panda colonies. In the end Po, Ping, Tigress and the panda defeat Kai, by mastering the power of Chi. Kung Fu Panda 3 ended on a peaceful note. Po now spreads the teachings of Kung Fu and Chi all around.
Although Kung Fu Panda 4 can go anywhere from this point. Kai may or may not come back or a greater enemy is hiding in the shadows. These are only speculations and rumors.

Release Date
Fans have been waiting for Kung Fu Panda 4 for ages. After the release of Kung Fu Panda 3 in 2016, fans kept anticipating a release date. The fourth part was expected to release in 2018. NBC Universal took over DreamWorks Animation at this time. This might have lead to the delay. However, we still have some hope because the franchise has promised a six-movie deal.
