During the Monday Night RAW broadcasts through the USA Network, it has been announced that superstar Kofi Kingston will replace The Miz in the WWE Championship match at Elimination Chamber 2021, the company’s next pay-per-view.

This week on RAW the owner of Mr. Money in the Bank The Miz asked Adam Pearce to give his place in Elimination Chamber to his partner John Morrison. Upon learning of this, Kofi Kingston offered his claim to enter the fight. Pearce chose to face Miz against Kofi to decide who of the two requested would enter the title fight. The meeting ended with a Trouble in Paradise by the member of The New Day for the count of three.

In this way, Kofi Kingston will take the place of The Miz in Elimination Chamber. Recall that last week it was announced that the maximum title of the company will be placed at stake inside the imposing steel cage with chambers inside. Shane McMahon and Adam Pearce confirmed this match in the first moments of the RAW broadcasts, also announcing Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, The Miz, and Sheamus as the competitors who will enter the structure for a title shot.

WWE Elimination Chamber will take place on February 21 from Tropicana Field in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Fans will be able to watch this event via pay-per-view and through WWE Network, as well as in the virtual audience “ThunderDome” mode. Below, the event’s billboard to date.
