Netflix’s hit series Kingdom is a horror that has become a hugely popular streaming service. It focuses on the feudal Joseon period in Korea and the spread of famine across the land. The story follows Prince Lee Chang, who attempts to regain his father’s throne. He then released war against the Cho family.
Chang was required to save the Citadel, his family, and his friends from the undead. We’ve seen that Season 2 ended with some major cliffhangers. Let’s find out if there is a third season for Kingdom and what it might entail.
Release Date
The series has not been renewed officially for a third season. There is no information about when it might premiere. Based on past installments, however, we can predict a release window.
Season 1 was completed in 18 months (from filming to premiere) and the sequel took only 13 months to release on Netflix.
However, Ashin of the North was announced in November 2020, meaning it only took eight months to complete the special episode.
Based on previous seasons’ production schedules and the special episode, Kingdom season 3 will be available on Netflix in April 2022.
