It’s common for some music, movie, or sports stars to personalize their luxury cars, but singer Justin Bieber has done more than that, modifying his Rolls-Royce Wraith beyond recognition. The four-seater coupe launched by the British brand in 2013 has been transformed into a futuristic vehicle that looks like it will fly off at any moment like a spaceship.
Justin Bieber’s futuristic Rolls-RoyceThose in charge of modifying the singer’s Rolls-Royce Wraith, which sells in the United States from 330,000 dollars (272,000 euros at current exchange rates), have been the specialists of West Coast Customs, a well-known car customization company located in Burbank (California).
West Coast Customs used their Instagram account to document the transformation of the vehicle and reveal that they were inspired by the Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100, a ‘galactic’ prototype introduced by the British brand in 2016. The project received the internal designation 103EX and was conceived as an autonomous, electrically powered vehicle.
Four years ago, Rolls-Royce introduced the 103EX Vision 100. Looking at the concept, we wonder why such an impressive car couldn’t really exist. No sooner said than done. Burbank preparers turned Justin Bieber’s coupe into a futuristic vehicle. The original black paint was replaced by a matte silver although it was not the only aesthetic touch-up, as the bodywork transformation included hidden wheels and a taller grill.
With electric motor furthermore, the original engine of the British coupe was replaced by an electric motor at the request of the Canadian singer. The standard Rolls-Royce Wraith is powered by a 6.6-liter V12 block supercharged by two turbochargers offering an output of 632 hp, but the current engine power is unknown. What we can assure you is that the modified model accelerates faster than the original since the delivery of torque in an electric vehicle is instantaneous. And though it seems as radical as the Bosozoku tuned of Gordon Cheng the Rolls-Royce galactic sure is much quieter and more discreet than the model the following image, with bright colors, huge wings, and giant exhaust pipes.
