John Cena

John Cena is back in WWE. As reported by Fightful Select, the return of the former world champion to Vince McMahon’s company is imminent, as sources close to WWE assure. The workers of the company assure that they work with that assumption, that Cena will return to the program “immediately”.

The deadlines for the return of John Cena oscillate “between the next eleven days”, so he could reappear from the next Friday Night SmackDown, in which the public will return to the weekly shows, until the next day 23, passing through Money in the Bank. Sources say that what is practically certain is that Cena will appear on SmackDown on July 23, but the normal thing is that it could be earlier.

Cena will appear again in WWE programming more than a year later, because since he fought at WrestleMania 36 against ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt, the wrestler has been away from the ring, focusing on his film career and the recording of the film ‘The Suicide Squad’, which will premiere in August.

A few days ago it was reported that Cena would be stipulated to appear at Summer Slam, an event in which WWE wants to put all the meat on the grill, and that it will be held in Las Vegas. The former world champion could face Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship, according to rumors.
