Inside Edge is an Amazon Original Indian sports drama series. Created by Karan Anshuman. The series is the first Hindi language Amazon Original. Viewers loved the series for the cast, the plot and the performance. India today commented on the series as “perfectly cast and technically first-rate.” Firstpost said, “the characters are so seamlessly integrated into the narrative that it does not feel like a make-believe world”. Inside Edge received a nomination for Best Drama series in the 46th International Emmy Awards. The executive producers are Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Excel Entertainment production company produced the series. Fans would love to see more of the series and are patiently waiting for Inside Edge Season 3.
Release Date
Inside Edge Season 3 productions mildly affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The difference between the release date of season one and season two is two and a half years. Well, the good news is that Season two and Season 3 shooting took place simultaneously. Therefore we might have Inside Edge sooner rather than later. We are hoping that the series releases in mid-2021. Although we have no release date announced yet.

Plot
The plot of the series revolves around the legendary game “cricket”. The critical acclaim of the show is not at all surprising given the love for the sport in India. Inside Edge is the story of Mumbai Mavericks, a T20 League team. The owners of the team make a match-fixing racket for their team. They happen to get caught while giving payment for match-fixing. At the end of season two, Mumbai Mavericks acquire 20 years of boycotting. In season 3 we are most likely to see the Power Play induced after Mumbai Mavericks’ crimes.
