Team India has benefited from the IPL played in the UAE before the tour of Australia. The team not only experienced playing in the bio bubble, but also got a chance to interact with the emerging players while practicing together. This is the reason why four young bowlers who performed brilliantly for their teams in the IPL 2020 were included as additional players on the tour of Australia.

While Team India will benefit from their excellent bowling in practice, these bowlers will also get an opportunity to learn and experience from experienced players. An example of this was seen on Wednesday when BCCI shared pictures of Karthik Tyagi learning the tricks of bowling from Jaspreet Bumrah.

BCCI shared three different pictures of Karthik and Bumrah from their Twitter handle, writing, ‘When you have the best guide to guide you in your journey’.

Let us know that Karthik Tyagi, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Ishaan Porel and T Natarajan have been selected as additional bowlers for the tour of Australia. While 20-year-old Tyagi bowled brilliantly for Rajasthan Royals, Nagarkoti made his mark while playing for Kolkata and Natarajan for Hyderabad.

At the same time, Bumrah is the leading bowler of the team along with Mohammed Shami on the tour of Australia and he also took tremendous wickets in the IPL.
