Actress Hailee Steinfeld has been playing Mavel’s character Kate Bishop for a few weeks, where she will collect the Hawkeye ( Jeremy Renner ) mantle at the UCM. Steinfeld spoke to CBR and revealed how the comics have inspired his acting for the series. “ You know, I don’t even know where to start. I’m so excited to bring her to life, a character that is loved by so many, and there are so many amazing features and elements of Kate Bishop in the comics that we feature in the series. It has been a lot of fun discovering what they are and how we interpret them and how we bring them to life ”.
“I already had a few moments where I thought, ‘This is so wild!’ I’ve always been a fan of comics, I’m a very visual person , “she continued. “So I’ve always been drawn to the visual aspect of them and being able to feel like I can actually flip through and digest them really easily. So this is a lot of fun, because I feel like I’m seeing these comics in front of my face every day at work, which is a very good thing . ”
“So I feel like I’ve had total moments where I like to have fun and play well, but I’m really excited to bring this character to life because there’s so much about her, like I said, throughout the comics and what we know about. his story that I can get, which is a dream. ”
