But fans hoping to devote their Father’s Day watching the fourth season premiere of the Kevin Costner-led actions will likely have to make alternate plans.
Regardless of the fact that the first three seasons of the series proved on or about Father’s Day (June 20, 2018, June 19, 2019, and June 21, 2020), it doesn’t look like Season 4 of Yellowstone will stick to the exact same release schedule. Will Yellowstone Season 4 Premiere On Father’s Day 2021?
The first two seasons of Yellowstone triggered the Wednesday following Father’s Day (June 20, 2018, and June 19, 2019, respectively), along with the third season debuted on Father’s Day (June 21, 2020). It had been more than fair to assume that the fourth season would also begin on Father’s Day (Sunday, June 20), but, presumably, that will not be the case.
A Reddit user went through Paramount Network’s forthcoming schedule and, sadly, Yellowstone is not recorded for Sunday, June 20. It doesn’t appear like the new year will drop in the next two weeks.
When Will Yellowstone Season 4 Start?
Paramount Network has yet to validate that an official release date for Season 4, and, even more telling, the show has yet to drop an official trailer. Cinemablend reports that a Facebook account utilized to employ extras to get the show in Montana posted a note for a two-day shoot scheduled to occur June 10 and 11. The scene was originally scheduled to be shot last year but had to be rescheduled due to snow.
The realities of shooting a brand new season of television throughout a global pandemic too (probably) factor into the delay, but as of now, there’s no official release date. Considering that the show is still filming, our very best guess is that the series will return later this summer or early fall.
