Good news for fans of “The Witcher” This is the Netflix Originals show. Netflix announced that Season 2 will be coming this year. Andrzej Sapkowski wrote this TV series that is novel-based. It has an 8.2 IMDb rating.

This show is packed with action and excitement. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich created and produces this show. Other producers include Yi Jason Brown and Tomasz Baginski as well as Jaroslaw Sawko and Alik Sakharov. Mike Ostrowski is also involved.

Release Date

Filming began in London in early 2015, with a 2021 release day planned. However, it turned out that things were not in their favor for The Witcher or the COVID-19 pandemic, so the production was delayed. The show was eventually shut down. However, in August it was announced that the team had begun backing up to gain the activities and that production would soon resume.

New faces will be seen, such as Anna Shaffer as Triss Merigold the court mage, MyAnna Buring, Tissaia de Vries the sorceress, Joey Batey, as Jaskier the traveling bard, and so forth.
