Pujara became the real center of this victory when India landed on the last day of the Brisbane Test against Australia with the intention of winning. He buried his legs like Angad at one end and stoutly faced the sharp short bowling of Australian bowlers. From the other end, the other Indian batsmen went on to score runs. The Australian bowlers were hitting the ball on his body and Pujara also kept eating the ball on the body like a stubborn player. On the 5th day of the match, the collision was a thorn and the Kangaroos sometimes hit the bouncers on their hands, sometimes on the chest, and sometimes on the helmet.
The ball was giving pain to Pujara but the real pain and prick were reaching Australia. Pujara contributed 56 runs in this innings and Shubman Gill (91), Rishabh Pant (89 *) from the other end injured him by snatching both this match and series from Australia. India won Australia for the first time on this ground. Not only this, Australia was defeated by a team after 32 years in the Gaba Fort of Brisbane.
