“Haikyuu! is an anime about sports that’s been popular since 2014. Shoyo Hinata, an adorable middle schooler, is drawn to volleyball by Karasuno High after watching them play on TV. Unfortunately, no one else in his school is interested. By the end he’s in middle school, he has convinced some of his friends that they should join him to form a team and compete in a tournament. Despite Hinata being redheaded and her incredible vertical jump they fall to Tobio Kageyama and their team.

Hinata goes to Karasuno High, where he is accepted. Kageyama, Hinata’s new teammate, becomes his volleyball teammate. They discover that Kageyama is now the school’s new volleyball player. Despite their mutual animus, these two young players have a quick strike combo that could return the spotlight to their volleyball teams.
