On the occasion of the broadcast of Friday Night SmackDown on FS1, the channel offered a special edition of Talking Smack after the broadcast of the weekly WWE show. The episode featured the presence of Paul Heyman and some superstars of the blue show, such as Kevin Owens or the Street Profits.
Prior to the broadcast of Talking Smack, FOX Sports promoted The Rock’s appearance during the show. Some fans took this information as a live appearance, but FOX issued an excerpt from an interview that Jay Glaze did less than a month ago and that was published on their official networks. A large number of fans were upset by the confusion and showed their frustration on social media. You can see the original interview here.

“Tonight, FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN changes to FS1, followed by a special edition of TALKING SMACK with conversations between @JayGlazer and @TheRock, and @TheWilderThings and @SashaBanksWWE,” wrote the official FOX Sports account.
The interview was not something new for most, since it was previously covered by the media, especially in the sports area. The Rock also shared the links to the original interview on their social media during Thanksgiving Week.
