- Finn Bálor defeated Kyle O’Reilly during the New Year’s Evil main event
During the broadcasts of NXT New Year’s Evil 2021 through the USA Network, Finn Bálor managed to retain the NXT Championship after defeating Kyle O’Reilly in a heads-up.
In the main event of the night, both competitors had a very even combat where the padlock keys and knees prevailed.
