WWE Now, through its host Matt Camp, made a new weekly injury report after the transmission of NXT through the USA Network. This week three fighters are under medical observation.
Kyle O’Reilly and Finn Balor were attacked by Pete Dunne and NXT Tag Team champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. Both fighters had been suffering injuries for several weeks after the fight for the NXT Championship in New Years Evil and the attack worsened their health. O’Reilly worsened her jaw damage and her discharge date was delayed. For his part, The Prince suffered further damage to his arm.
On the other hand, Valentina Ferox who fought against Xia Li suffered multiple injuries to her face and body. I was victorious with a punch to the face and a superkick. By order of the mysterious figure on the throne accompanying her, Xia continued to attack her rival post-fight.
It should be noted that the Injury Report was made in a kayfabe context. Some of the injuries may be real and others may be part of a story in progress.
